Basic web downloads work without an account. Desktop Pro uses an account and paid membership. This policy explains what we collect and why. We do not sell your data.

Information we collect

• Website use: submitted links, download details and results, IP address and browser details. We use these to provide downloads, diagnose problems and limit abuse.
• Accounts and payments: email, protected sign-in details, account confirmations and membership/payment records. These let us manage your account and Pro access. Passwords are not stored as readable text.
• Messages: your email, message, optional name and connection details when you contact us, so we can respond and manage spam.

Cookies

Cookies remember your language for up to a year, keep you signed in for up to 30 days. These cookies are not used for advertising. You can clear or block them in your browser; doing so may sign you out or reset your preferences.

Your downloads

Some web downloads are processed or temporarily stored by our service. Temporary files are normally scheduled for deletion after about an hour. Anyone with a temporary download link may be able to access the file while it remains available.

Desktop downloads and task history stay on your computer. Browser cookies used by the app to access source sites are not uploaded to KKdownload.

How long we keep information

Account, payment, support and operational log records do not currently have a fixed automatic deletion schedule. Temporary sign-in records expire separately. You can ask us about your data or request deletion through the Contact page.

Service providers

We use providers for hosting, security, file delivery, email and payments. Cloudflare helps deliver the site and store temporary files; our email provider handles account emails; Ko-fi and its payment providers handle checkout. They receive the information needed to provide those services. We do not receive your card details.

Confirming that you are 18 or older and choosing checkout loads a Ko-fi payment panel. This connects your browser to Ko-fi, which may use its own cookies and receives connection information such as your IP address.

Questions and requests

Use the Contact page to ask to access or correct your information, close your account, request deletion or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify that the request concerns your account. Records required for legal, billing or dispute purposes may need to be retained.

Children

Accounts and Pro purchases are for users aged 18 or older. The service is not intended for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.

We update this page when our data handling changes. The date above shows the latest revision.
